- Who founded EI?
- Emmanuel Relief and Rehabilitation International was founded in 1975 by George Middleton, who was an SIM missionary in Ethiopia. In September 2010, EI will be celebrating its 35th anniversary. Read about EI's history here.

- How long has EIC existed?
- EICanada was created as a National Affiliate on March 31, 1983, and is, at present, one of seven National Affiliates of Emmanuel International worldwide.

- How many people do you help each year?
- Last year EI helped over 112,000 people. In the past five years we have helped to transform over 1 million lives.

- Where do you work?
- Right now EIC has projects running in 8 different program countries: Brazil, Haiti, Malawi, the Philippines, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

- Do I have to raise support?
- Yes, EIC personnel are required to assist in raising financial support. Financial support levels vary depending on some different variables (ie. single, married, family, project country, home office, etc.). For more information on support levels, please call our office at 905-640-2111 or e-mail our Human Resources Coordinator at personnel@eicanada.org.

- Will I recieve training?
- Yes, all EIC personnel will go through our training school which will be held at our office in Canada. Training includes seminars such as "The History of EI," "Missional Worldview," "Gender and Development," "Wealth & Poverty," and more.
