Healthcare Professionals - Nurses

Program: Community Health
Location: Marbial & Fond-Blanc, Haiti

Job Summary

Healthcare Professionals specialized in Nursing will teach preventive health care and nutrition as well as helping local nurses. All areas of nursing expertise are welcomed. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to expand their nursing career. There will be plenty of hands-on work. This position would work in cooperation with the other national nurses. 

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Mature, ministering Christian, active in their local church.
2. Agreement with, and commitment to EIC's mandate and policies.
3. Successful completion of EIC's cross-cultural training program.
4. Ability and willingness to raise financial support.
5. Good interpersonal skills.
6. Interests, skills and/or training for the position as appropriate.
7. A minimum length of service of 14 months (2 months of EIC cross-cultural training and preparation and one year overseas) with longer term commitments recommended.
8. Previous overseas experience is an asset.
   

*Please note that persons who join our organization in any of our ministry positions raise their own funds in most cases. We provide training and support in personal fundraising.
