This is a great opportunity to experience a different culture and make friends in an international community, while helping a missionary family focus on their ministry.


  • High school graduate, some college preferred
  • A follower of Christ
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing to commit to at least 6 months
  • Primary role is homeschooling

It was February 2014 and Tim Monger who works with Emmanuel International in Tanzania was heading to a remote island on Lake Victoria to see what Dr. Makori was doing on Kome Island. Dr. Makori runs a Community Health Clinic on the Island using his own funds.
