What We Do
"Behold, I am making all things new!” ~ Revelation 21:5
EICanada is currently working alongside churches in hundreds of communities in Brazil, Haiti, Malawi, the Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. Through the help of EICanada and caring Canadian partners like you, hundreds of local churches are able to proclaim with love the good news of Jesus Christ, provide clean drinking water, health care and education, training for Christian leaders and much more.
Transforming Lives
A WHOLISTIC APPROACH
No doubt you are aware that the poorest of the poor in the world face all kinds of obstacles and challenges to living healthy, whole lives.
Basic necessities are often scarce, if available at all. The challenges are many and real.
And so our approach to helping the world’s neediest people cannot be one-dimensional, but must take into real consideration the many root causes of the systemic poverty and suffering affecting hundreds of millions of people today.
That is why EICanada has always been involved in implementing strategies to address the root causes of poverty and bring about real transformation in lives. We work to bring necessary and timely aid to victims of disasters; to rebuild communities and lives following relief efforts; to establish long-term relationships within needy countries to develop and strengthen individuals, families, communities, and local governments; and to share the good news of Jesus Christ and train and equip Christian leaders.
And we do all of this in response to the love of God!
A Church Based Solution
HELPING THE CHURCH BE THE CHURCH
In most cases, the best response to helping a needy community comes through the local church. This is because in many of these communities the church plays a more central, long-term role in helping to provide what other organizations and government programs would otherwise provide for a community in a country like Canada.
EICanada was founded on the belief that for the church to be the church of Jesus Christ, it must take seriously the plight of the poor; spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially. However, in most cases, local churches in these communities do not have the resources to meet the overwhelming needs they see present around them.
EICanada has become a trusted means of connecting caring Canadians to these local community churches, giving them the tools to meet the needs of the people around them. This is our mandate and our passion: to help churches worldwide transform lives within their communities in response to the love of God.
The Work of EI Canada
WHOLISTIC MINISTRY
EICanada works in four main areas: relief, rehabilitation, sustainable development and Christian ministries.
RELIEF & REHABILITATION
Our relief projects include such things as providing food and shelter to victims of disasters in our project countries. We implement projects that work towards replanting crops or rebuilding homes as communities recover from shocks such as drought or flood.

Since 2019, the Colin Campbell Team of Keller Williams Realty Centres has been supporting families in York Region by providing food packs, helping ease the burden of putting meals on the table during Christmas.
In 2026, Colin Campbell Team has partnered with Emmanuel International Canada to extend that impact—reaching families both in York Region and in Malawi.
The holidays don't wait for people to catch up.
Grocery cost are up, and more families are quietly stretched.
Support networks are maxed out.
This is the season a community either shows up, or people go without
Sponsor holiday grocery packs. A family in York Region and Malawi will be fed this Christmas.
